Pradeep Ranganathan, who delivered two consecutive hits with Love Today and Dragon, is set to entertain audiences this Diwali with Dude. The film is produced by the renowned production house Mythri Movie Makers and marks the directorial debut of Keerthiswaran. Ahead of its release, producers Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravishankar shared insights about the film.
The producers call the plot as fresh and highly engaging. “It has beautiful moments, including emotional ones. We often try to predict how a film will unfold in the second half, but this movie will surprise you, it goes beyond your expectations. You’ll walk away with the feeling of having watched a high-quality film.”
They also expressed satisfaction with how the project turned out and the fact that it was completed on time and within budget. “This is a film where the entire process was smooth, completed within the planned budget and schedule. It’s also a profitable venture. In Telugu, we’ve made films like Mathu Vadalara, Chitralahari, and Gang Leader under similar circumstances.”
There is talk that 20 minutes of the film will be particularly emotional. “The emotions are present in just the right measure for the story. Dude is a fitting title for this film. We’re confident it will resonate just as strongly with Telugu audiences as it does with Tamil viewers. It’s a film that truly connects with emotions.”
They also extended best wishes for other movies releasing for the festival.
