Surprise: DSP To Make His Hero Debut In Dil Raju’s Yellamma?

Here comes an exciting revelation. Star music composer Devi Sri Prasad is finally set to make his acting debut in a lead role. As per insider reports, The Rock Star is said to be making his silver screen debut with Dil Raju’s much-talked-about project, Yellamma.

Prior to DSP, Dil Raju and Yellamma director Venu Yeldandi considered popular Tollywood stars like Nani and Nithiin for the lead role. However, both the actors couldn’t make it eventually, delaying the project for several months. Recently, unconfirmed reports speculated that Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is the front-runner to play the main lead in Yellamma.

However, it looks like DSP’s arangetram in acting is almost certain with Yellamma. DSP’s acting debut has been a long-awaited treat for his fans. He made a brief cameo appearance in Pawan Kalyan’s Atharintiki Dharedhi and also set the stages on fire with his energetic performances on numerous occasions.

Venu Yeldandi had created magic on his acclaimed debut film, Balagam, with Priyadarshi. Whether he can repeat the same magic with DSP will be known when the film hits theaters sometime next year.
