Megastar Chiranjeevi extended a prestigious honour to India’s Asia Cup Hero, Tilak Varma, on the sets of his upcoming film, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. The meeting was a grand salute to the Hyderabad boy’s stellar performance, which guided India to a glorious victory in the recent Asia Cup final against arch-rivals Pakistan.
Chiranjeevi personally felicitated Tilak Varma, draping him with a shawl in a traditional gesture of honour. Adding a thoughtful personal touch, the Megastar also presented the cricketer with a framed photograph of himself, a lasting memento of the proud moment.
The meeting drew attention from prominent personalities present for the shoot. Nayanthara, who plays the female lead in the film, and the film’s director, Anil Ravipudi, along with the producers, and others on the set, were also in attendance, joining Chiranjeevi in appreciating the young talent.
Chiranjeevi specifically lauded Tilak Varma’s remarkable display of talent, dedication and fighting spirit, which was the cornerstone of India’s victory. His unbeaten 69 in the tense final chase against Pakistan was a masterclass in composure, making him a national hero.
