Samrajyam – An Untold Tale From Vada Chennai Universe

Director Vetrimaran is currently working with Simbu for a film titled Arasan. The film is titled Samrajyam in Telugu. The makers released a five-minute-long promo to give an understanding of the character and the world he operates in. The film is going to be a part of the Vadachennai universe. The gripping action-infused promo, decorated with hero elevation, gives an adrenaline rush to the fans.

Billed to be a gangster action drama, the film Samrajyam will have a crossover with Vada Chennai. In the future, we can see both Dhanush and Simbu sharing the screen space for the same film.

The latest promo features Simbu narrating his story with Nelson Dilipkumar in the court premises. He has a hearing scheduled at the same time, and when the judge questions him, Simbu pleads not guilty of the murders that took place 15 years ago, for which he was accused. While Simbu claims innocence, the flash cuts reveal him in a younger avatar, drenched in blood.

The teaser, with the premise and the reference to NTR, gives a kick to Telugu audiences. As Simbu wants the story to be made a biopic, he suggests that NTR will play the part well. Incidentally, Nelson, who is a part of the promo, is doing a film with NTR next, and even Vetrimaran wants to work with NTR soon.
