Trailer Talk: Intense Battle Of Jatadhara, Dhana Pisachi

Nava Dhalapathy Sudheer Babu played a powerful role in his next outing Jatadhara, directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal. As the release date approaches, the film’s trailer has been unveiled, with Superstar Mahesh Babu doing the honours.

The trailer opens with a gripping narrative about a hidden treasure protected by malevolent spirits, summoned through an ancient dark ritual known as Pisacha Bandhanam. The protagonist, who doesn’t believe in ghosts, sets out to prove the supernatural doesn’t exist. However, things take a dark turn when a greedy individual awakens a powerful spirit called Dhana Pisachi. The rest of the story follows the protagonist’s intense battle against this evil force, with the aid of Jatadhara.

Sudheer Babu delivers a standout performance as a ghost hunter who takes on the demonic entity. A highlight of the trailer is a chilling final sequence where he drinks blood, which is sure to offer goosebumps. Sporting a rugged new look, Sudheer appears intense and masculine. Sonakshi Sinha makes a strong impression as the antagonist, while the trailer also introduces key roles played by Avasarala Srinivas and Shilpa Shirodkar.

Directors Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal have skillfully blended mythology and folklore. The visuals by cinematographer Sameer Kalyani and the haunting score by music director Rajeev Raj work in harmony to elevate the experience. The production design, backed by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora of Ess Kay Gee Entertainment, appears grand and well-executed.
