Popular production house Mythri Movie Makers registered another success under its name with its latest outing, Dude. This romantic comedy, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, was released the other day and opened to positive talk in both Tamil and Telugu. With the positive word of mouth, Dude has become the first choice of film for audiences during this Diwali weekend.

With Dude, Mythri Movie Makers continued its streak of delivering good love stories with debut directors. After the likes of Bharat Kamma and Buchi Babu Sana, Mythri delivered another successful romantic comedy with debut director Keerthiswaran.

Bharat Kamma made his debut with the romantic drama Dear Comrade. Though the film was a flop at the box office, a section of the audience liked it. They consider it one of the finest films in Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s careers.

Meanwhile, Buchi Babu Sana scored a 100-crore grosser right with his first film, Uppena. Starring debutants Panja Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, this movie was a raging hit at the box office.

Now, by backing another debutant for Dude, Mythri Movie Makers scored a good hit. With this success, Keerthiswaran has become an overnight sensation in the Tamil film industry, and more offers are expected to be offered to him in the coming days.
