With Prabhas’ birthday coming up on October 23, fans have been eagerly waiting for big updates about his upcoming films. Usually, makers time major announcements or releases to mark such occasions. This time, all eyes were on The Raja Saab and Prabhas’ next project with director Hanu Raghavapudi.
Prabhas is currently in Greece, filming songs for The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. The movie is in its final leg of shooting and is gearing up for a Sankranti release on January 9. Reports suggested that the first single, which introduces Prabhas’ character, would release on his birthday. The song was said to be shot on a grand scale and planned as a major birthday treat for fans.
However, the makers have now clarified that the song will not release on October 23. They announced that updates celebrating Prabhas’ birthday are coming soon, but the first song will drop only in November. Fans who were waiting for the musical update are left disappointed, as it now seems the team may only unveil a new poster on his birthday.
While this news upset Prabhas’ fans, there’s some relief from another project. Prabhas’ next film with Hanu Raghavapudi, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is moving forward. The team confirmed that the film’s title will be revealed on October 22, a day before Prabhas’ birthday. It’s unclear whether they’ll release only the title or also share a first-look poster, though the latter seems likely.
Either way, Prabhas fans can expect at least one solid update this birthday season, even if it’s not the one they were hoping for.
