Producer Naga Vamsi Suryadevara is known for his aggressive approach in promoting his films. From planning to execution, he maintains a unique style of his. However, in the recent past, his overenthusiastic comments during a pre-release event invited huge criticism.
Today, during the promotions of Mass Jathara, Naga Vamsi admitted that he was very excited that day, resulting in a mistake.
Speaking at the pre-release event of War 2, Naga Vamsi went a little over board, commanding the fans of NTR to bring a release day nett for the Telugu version, a little more than what the Hindi version does. Practically, it is something that is highly impossible considering War 2 being a straight Hindi film which will make the maximum revenue. Telugu version, with its limited market, can never beat the original.
Having said that, Naga Vamsi also stated that he would never request the audiences again to watch a film if War 2 do not appeal to the viewers. On one side, he is trying to display his love for NTR on the stage, and on the other side, he is also very excited, forgetting some facts and other things that go into making a film a success.
Now that Naga Vamsi realized it, he agreed that he was too excited and made a mistake with his speech. At the same time, he also opened up that it was the trust he had in a producer like Aditya Chopra and YRF for making such comments. However, post the release of the movie, he was criticised badly. Some speculated that he shifted his base to Dubai, failing to face the public out of humiliation.
