Renu Desai Pins Hopes On Comedy This Time

Actress Renu Desai made a comeback to acting with Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao. She played the character Hemalatha Lavanam but it did not bring her the appreciation or further opportunities to pursue the same. However now, she is still looking for new offers and recently signed one.

Renu Desai is a talented actor who did only three movies in her prime, namely, Badri, James Pandu and Jhonny. She is a multi talented personality who later ventured into direction with a Marathi film Ishq wala Love. However, making a comeback to acting, she picked Tiger Nageswara Rao. With the film failing commercially at the box office, Renu’s character also did not win her praises. The film was released two years ago.

After Tiger Nageswara Rao’s release, Renu Desai received a string of offers but they are not in sync with her expectations. Moreover, her comeback began with a serious character, because of which, it went unnoticed. Now, she is actively looking at taking up new offers.

In the process, she signed a mother-in-law character in a fun filled film. Renu did not reveal the details of the project but mentioned that she is playing heroine’s atha in an upcoming film on which she pinned a lot of hopes.

In this new phase, Renu wants to test her luck with comedy and if that works out, she is sure to make a big impression and bag many character artist roles.
