What Is The Fans’ Reaction To ‘Spriti Cop Universe’ Buzz?

Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas are working together for an exciting collaboration titled Spirit. The film’s shoot is yet to begin but all of us knew that Prabhas will be seen as a cop in the movie. Meanwhile, there have been rumors that Sandeep plans to create a cop universe with this project. Although Sandeep has not revealed it officially, the buzz is growing on social media.

With the film’s shoot getting delayed, there have been speculations that Spirit will become Sandeep Reddy’s Cop Universe just like how Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty created one. If Sandeep really does it, that universe will surely be amazing in its own way. We all knew how radical, bold yet sensible his heroes behave on the screen. And when they play cops, it will be a treat to watch on the screen.

However, the practicality is a big issue here. Sandeep is not someone who takes a long time on one script. Although he waits until the shoot begins, he will shift to another story rather than creating sequels or prequels to it, which is why he did not immediately begin Animal Park, the sequel of Animal. But, his approach with cop universe would definitely be different.

Having said that, the universe franchise might work out commercially, the acceptance is still a challenge. Although the audiences in South are curious of the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic universe, there is still a criticism from some section of audiences. In Telugu, director Prashanth Varma is actively trying to create a Prashanth Varma Cinematic Universe but he has not showcased the mettle yet.

In the middle of all this, Sandeep has to finish Spirit first. Prabhas is a busy actor already with the sequels of Kalki 2898 AD and Salaar pending in the pipeline. If Sandeep creates a cop universe, he may surely have bits and pieces of Prabhas’ presence for further parts. The viability and acceptance factors will surely add burden to the creative people involved in creating an universe.

So, it is too early to arrive at a conclusion based on rumors and let us wait for a final confirmation over the same.
