Sudheer Babu’s Son Darshan to Play Younger Prabhas in Fauzi

Filmmakers often pick star kids to play younger versions of lead actors. It helps with resemblance and adds a natural connection to the role. Sudheer Babu, known for his versatile roles, is Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law and husband of Priyadarshini. He has two sons, Charith Maanas and Darshan.

Charith, the elder one, is 19 and has often been compared to his uncle Mahesh Babu for his looks. He earlier appeared as young Nani in Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (2015) and is expected to make his acting debut soon.

Darshan has already done a few notable child roles. He played the young Adivi Sesh in Goodachari (2018) and the young Mahesh Babu in Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Darshan, has now been chosen to play the young Prabhas in Fauzi.

While promoting his upcoming film Jatadhara, Sudheer Babu confirmed that Darshan is playing the younger Prabhas in Fauzi. The role includes long Sanskrit dialogues, and sources say the young actor performed them with confidence. With both sons showing interest in acting, Sudheer Babu’s family seems to have strong film roots.

Fauzi is a historical fiction action drama with a romantic touch. The film stars Prabhas and Imanvi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Music is by Vishal Chandrashekhar, and it is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers.
