Dulquer Salmaan is coming up with a period drama Kaantha which is set in 1950’s backdrop. Directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, produced by Wayfarer Films Pvt. Ltd. and presented by Spirit Media, the movie generated a strong buzz with its teaser and songs.
As part of musical journey, the film’s new song- Rage of Kaantha was dropped. Scored by Jhanu Chanthar, this is a character driven composition that fuses Tamil and Telugu into a single intense rap-style track, echoing the spirit of oneness across cultures, languages, and emotions.
With thumping beats, roaring guitars, and a mix of vintage vibes reimagined for today’s sound, the track hints at the adrenaline and emotion we can expect from the movie itself.
The song shows the cinematic journey of Dulquer Salmaan’s character as a superstar who has done numerous characters on screen and gained huge following for his versatility.
