A few weeks ago, the news about Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s engagement became a hot topic in Tollywood. The couple reportedly held a simple ceremony attended by family members and close friends. However, neither of them has made an official announcement yet, and fans are eagerly waiting for confirmation.
While Vijay has remained silent so far, Rashmika indirectly spoke about the engagement during Jagapathi Babu’s talk show. Referring to the ring on her finger, she said it was very special. Now, her recent statement on a Talk show saying, “I will marry Vijay,” has created a big buzz.
During the show, a fan asked her with which actor she would like to have a relationship. Rashmika humorously replied that she would love to date the animated character Naruto. Immediately after that, she added, “I will marry Vijay,” which made everyone cheer loudly.
The video has gone viral on social media. Reports suggest that Vijay and Rashmika might not take much time to tie the knot, and their wedding date is said to be fixed for February. An official announcement is expected soon.
Rashmika, who made her acting debut with the Kannada film Kirik Party, entered Tollywood with the hit movie Chalo. Her film Geetha Govindam with Vijay Deverakonda was a blockbuster and took her career to the next level. Later, she also acted with him in Dear Comrade. It is believed that their relationship began around that time. After years of dating, the couple is now said to have gotten engaged and is moving towards marriage.
