The Raja Saab Producer Clears Air on Songs Rumours

For the last few weeks, there has been a lot of discussion around the first single release of the Prabhas-starrer horror-comedy The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. Fans are eagerly waiting for the song’s release and have been requesting the makers to give an update regarding the same. Finally, noted producer and team member of The Raja Saab, SKN, cleared the air regarding the first single release.

SKN said that the discussions between the North Indian marketing team and the Telugu marketing team to decide which song to release are causing the delay and assured that it will be fixed in a week.

Speaking with Prabhas fans on a Space on X, SKN said, “Ours is a pan-India cinema. North Indian promotions happen in one way, and our promotions happen in another way. We wanted to release the ‘Rebel Saab’ song first, but the North Indian distributor asked us to release a melody first. So, this created a small discussion among us about which song to go with.”

“We release lyrical videos down South with just a hook step, keeping the video to be experienced in theatres. However, in the North, they release full video songs before the film’s release. These discussions also led to a slight delay in the release of our song,” he added. SKN also confirmed that there is no item song in the film and stated that a remix version of a popular vintage Hindi song will be included in the film, which will be a feast for fans.

SKN assured that once things settle down, every song will be released within a gap of 10–14 days. It is assumed that the first single might get released in the third or fourth week of November. From then, The Raja Saab team will promote the film aggressively from the end of this month until its release in January.

The film is slated for release on January 9, 2026, during the Pongal festive season. Produced by People Media Factory, The Raja Saab features Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads. Thaman S is composing the music for the film.
