India’s most celebrated and prolific filmmaker SS Rajamouli seems to be on a mission to throw surprises in the run-up to the grand event for his upcoming globe-trotting adventure drama SSMB29 on November 15th in Hyderabad. 

To build anticipation for the launch of highly anticipated, Rajamouli and his team kicked off an unprecedented promotional campaign and also started introducing the lead characters one by one with stunning posters. After leaving everyone in awe with the first look poster of Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha, the makers now unveiled Priyanka Chopra’s look this evening and it has simply blown the minds away. 

As SSMB29 is touted to be an full-throttle action escapade set in the backdrop of jungle, many expected Rajamouli to design his characters in a way that would connect with global audiences. This is why Priyanka Chopra, who attained popularity across the globe, was roped in as the female lead. Her addition has already brought more hype to this project beyond India. 

But, Rajamouli seems to have got other ideas as he appears to be serving a desi action drama which cuts across the globe. The unbelievable first look poster of Priyanka Chopra as Mandakini sent everyone into a tizzy. Her desi look in a yellow saree and the way she goes gun blazing is totally unexpected and out of the box. How many times did a female lead wearing a saree wielded a gun in Indian films so far ? 

When fans expected a rugged and ruthless look for Prithviraj Sukumaran, Rajamouli came up with a complete contrast futuristic character. Now, when everyone is waiting for for Priyanka Chopra to stun with her stylish avatar, the action-packed desi look has further left everyone astonished. They are unable to predict what is the RRR director cooking with SSMB29. 

Now, the expectations on Mahesh Babu’s look and character are completely on a different level as the posters of both Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra came out of the imagination of everyone.
