Breaking: Cabinet Classifies Delhi Blast As “Terror Incident”

The horrifying Delhi blast that happened a couple of days ago is one of the most heinous attacks on the country in recent years. For the first time after the incident, the Indian cabinet led by Prime Minister Modi convened on the same and here’s a look into the resolution that has been passed. 

The Indian cabinet classified this Delhi attack as an incident of terror and this officiates the fact that the clash is indeed an act of terror and there could be great reconciliation in the near future. 

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, expressed its profound grief over the loss of lives in the terrorist incident involving a car explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi on the evening of 10 November 2025. The Cabinet observed two minutes’ silence in honour of innocent lives lost.

The Cabinet reiterated India’s unwavering commitment to a policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. This essentially means that there could be adequate consequences for this act of terror. 

Considering the fact that India has strongly embraced the Operation Sindoor 2.0 regime, it has to be seen what kind of reciprocal action would be taken by the Indian defense authorities. 

Meanwhile, the toll of deaths in connection with the Delhi blasts has gone up to 12 and this is one of the more fatal attacks against Indian civilians in recent times.
