Surprise: Tamil Dance Master To Join Hands With Prabhas?

Despite attaining pan-India stardom like no other actor in the country after the mammoth success of Baahubali, Prabhas is always open to encourage directors who are inexperienced and newcomers. Immediately after Baahubali 2, he worked with young directors like Sujeeth and Radha Krishna. He is currently working with directors like Maruthi and Hanu Raghavapudi. All these directors are yet to crack the pan-India formula yet bagged the opportunity to direct India’s biggest actor. 

Now, the latest reports suggest that Prabhas has agreed to team up with another new director. Surprisingly, this time it is Oscar-winning Naatu Naatu choreographer Prem Rakshit who is set to wield the megaphone for the first time, with Prabhas involved in his debut directorial project. It is heard that Prem Rakshit has penned a strong script that impressed Prabhas a lot. However, it is still unclear whether Prabhas will act in the film, produce it, or take up any other role in the project. The Adipurush actor has immediately agreed to work on this project and locked the script with no second thoughts. 

Coincidentally, Prem Rakshit made his debut with the 2005 blockbuster Chatrapathi which stars Prabhas. There is no looking back for Prem Rakshit as he went on to work with numerous superstars in South India. He is credited with composing crowd pleasing dance moves for several songs. With Naatu Naatu song, Prem Rakshit became widely popular across the country after his iconic steps performed by both NTR and Ram Charan received unanimous response in all languages and later turned into a global phenomenon. 

From the beginning of his career, Prabhas has always been open to collaborating with new directors. In the past, he even worked with choreographer-turned-director Lawrence for Rebel. But choosing Prem Rakshit at this stage of his career has come as a surprise to fans and the industry. With a strong lineup of films ahead and his much-anticipated project Spirit set to go on floors soon, fans are slightly unsure about what role Prabhas will take in Prem Rakshit’s debut directorial whether he will act, produce, or contribute in some other capacity.

More details about this interesting collaboration are likely to be out once the makers officially announce confirm this development.
