Actress Rukmini Vasanth recently had a pretty annoying issue online. She put out a post saying someone was pretending to be her using a random number. She even shared the number openly and warned everyone not to reply to any messages coming from it. Her tone was firm, this is cybercrime, and she’s already taking action. She also told people to contact her or her team directly if they’re ever unsure. Simple, clear, and honestly, a little worrying.
And now, the same thing has hit Shriya Saran. She shared a screenshot of a fake profile pretending to be her and wrote a very blunt caption. She called the impersonator an “idiot” and wondered why someone would waste their time doing something so useless. She also added a funny bit saying the only good thing was that this fake person was messaging people she actually admires and hopes to work with someday. It’s a weird mix of frustration and humour, but very Shriya.
Both posts show how common these fake accounts have become. People jump in without checking, and suddenly someone’s fooling half the industry. The actresses just want fans to stay alert and not fall for any random number claiming to be them.
On the work side, things look solid for both of them. Shriya recently appeared in Mirai with Teja Sajja, and Rukmini, still riding the Kantara wave, is now stepping into a huge project with Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel. So while the online drama is annoying, it’s not slowing them down at all.
