Ram Pothineni’s Andhra King Taluka, directed by Mahesh Babu P, is generating strong buzz, thanks to its impressive promotional content and the team’s aggressive marketing strategy. The confidence of the makers is clearly visible.
From the teaser and trailer, it’s evident that the plot centers around Sagar, played by Ram, who puts everything aside for his love of cinema and his matinee idol Surya, portrayed by Upendra. But things take a sharp turn when a theatre owner humiliates him, leaving Sagar deeply hurt and triggered.
Yet, the film goes far beyond a simple star-vs-fan narrative. Sagar is hopelessly in love with his girl, played by Bhagyashri Borse. In one of the observations, he often watches her instead of the screen in the theatre, an endearing detail that highlights his affection. And it’s this love, along with his fandom, that pushes him to take a drastic step to prove himself.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Andhra King Taluka seems to pack all the ingredients expected from a full-fledged entertainer. Set in the early 2000s, the film promises a vintage vibe, taking viewers back to a time when cinema was celebrated with unmatched fervor.
With its release just 3 days away on November 28th, expectations are already running high.
