Smriti Mandhana Pauses Marriage: Wrong Time For Rumours

Generally, when a star wedding is happening, there is a lot of discussion happening on the same on social media. Same is the case with star female Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana who was supposed to get married a few days back. 

All of sudden there were reports about Smriti Mandhana’s father facing a heart issue and subsequently the marriage got postponed indefinitely. It was reported that Smriti would not get married unless her father is by her side. 

While the marriage has been paused momentarily, social media is being flooded with several speculations and theories against the groom Palash Muchchal. 

There are a few social media posts about Palash possibly cheating with another girl which got exposed later and led to the marriage getting called off. Other rumors say all is not well with the couple and they’ve decided to call it off. These rumours gained momentum in the context that Smriti had deleted all the wedding related photos on Instagram.

At the sensitive point in time, the family needs time and space to reflect on what is happening. But social media, being the hostile place that it is, has started to load up unverified rumors and speculations at a personal level.  

The common opinion now is that social media users must show better sensibility and empathy at this point in time rather than speculate at will just to grab a few eyeballs.
