Stampede Controversy: Dil Raju Steps In To Clarify Sri Teja’s Condition

It has been a year since the unfortunate stampede during Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 release broke out at Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad. The mishap resulted in the death of a woman named Revathi and seriously injured her kid Sri Teja, who is still on road to recovery.

Earlier today, there have been numerous baseless reports on social media and some web portals that Sri Teja’s father Bhaskar is unable to bear the medical expenses for the kid’s rehabilitation treatment as Allu Arjun has allegedly ignored their plea for additional assistance. Producer Bunny Vas, who is a close aide to Allu Arjun, addressed the issue in the morning and clarified that the actor is extending complete support to the victim’s family.

Now, producer Dil Raju, who was nominated by the government of Telangana to act a mediator between the victim’s family and the actor, has stepped in to clear the air on ongoing rumours. Dil Raju met Sri Teja’s father Bhaskar and ascertained the health condition of the kid. He clarified that Allu Arjun has extended 2 Crores financial help after the incident and the same was deposited in the name of Sri Teja besides bearing medical expenses worth 70 lakhs for his treatment.

Dil Raju further added that the monthly interest earned through the fixed deposit is being used for the treatment of Sri Teja and also for the monthly expenses of family. Sri Teja’s father Bhaskar spoke to media and said he requested Allu Arjun and Allu Arvind through Dil Raju for additional financial help to continue Sri Teja in rehabilitation for some more month for recovery at the earliest.

Dil Raju stated that Allu Arjun has responded positively and agreed to provide the required money to continue the treatment for the next six months or one year until complete recovery of Sri Teja.
