Varanasi – Rajamouli’s Biggest Shock Yet Loading!

SS Rajamouli’s globe-trotting action adventure ‘Varanasi’ with Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role is arguably the most hyped Indian film among all upcoming releases. The stakes on this 1000 Crore budgeted tentpole film reached a new high after the first glimpse that was unveiled last month left moviegoers awestruck with mind numbing visuals. 

While audience are wondering what is in store with this time-travel saga, notable Tollywood director Deva Katta, who is closely associated with Rajamouli, has made some startling revelations during the recent Directors Roundtable with Gulte Pro. Talking about the film, Deva Katta hyped up about Rajamouli’s imagination and vision with which he is making Varanasi. He said the director’s way of bringing the script to life will give will be beyond all expectations. 

Talking to other directors who took part in the discussion, Deva Katta said Varanasi will be give bigger shock than what Rajamouli delivered with his previous blockbusters Magadheera, Eega, Baahubali and RRR. He said that the output of Varanasi will be bigger than the scale and output all these films combined. He said the way Rajamouli is cooking high emotions in Varanasi will transcend all realism, logics and reasons.

Deva Katta associated with Rajamouli for directing the prequel web series of Baahubali franchise. However, the idea was shelved after Deva Katta walked out from the commitment citing personal reasons.

Given Deva Katta’s rapport with Rajamouli, his elevation for Varanasi looks authentic and hints that audience are going to witness something unprecedented and out-of-world when the film hit the screens in 2027.
