After Telugu, Suriya is Testing His Luck in Malayalam Too

Suriya is not having a successful streak in Tamil in the recent times. After a series of flop movies, Suriya ventured into Telugu cinema. His Telugu debut is currently under shooting phase. Now, Suriya is also venturing into Malayalam cinema space.

Suriya is joining hands with director Jithu Madhavan of Aavesham fame. The combination is pretty interesting with the addition of Nazriya Nazim and Naslen to the film’s cast. Suriya wants to go all out in experimenting with new scripts and collaborating with filmmakers from other languages.

Already, the trade is positive about Suriya’s film with Venky Atluri. The film will release in Tamil as well and if it becomes a big hit, the film would revive Suriya’s market back in Tamilnadu. The untitled film with Jithu in Malayalam is also interesting. With both films showing the promise, we have to see if Suriya comes back to success.

We have seen Dhanush scoring hits in Telugu and Hindi but the same films not working in Tamil. If the same happens in Suriya’s case, it is like falling back to step one. However, the buzz is positive and more details are awaited.
