Smriti Just Clarifies, But Palash Defends Himself!

One of the more controversial incidents in recent times that grabbed the attention of the Indian population is the cancellation of the marriage of cricketer Smriti, Mandana and Palash Muchchal.

The couple was supposed to get married later last month, and they had even completed all the major festivities, except for the muhurtam. However, the marriage was called off at the very last minute and there were unverified speculations about Palash cheating on Smriti with a female choreographer which led to the cancelation of the marriage.

In this connection, Smriti shared a post on social media today, where she confirmed that the marriage has been called off and asked for sensibility and privacy at the time. She did not address any of these speculations about the reasons behind the cancellation of the marriage.

On the other hand, Palash tried his best to defend himself as he stated “I have decided to move on in my life and step back from my personal relationship.

It’s been very difficult for me to see people react so easily on baseless rumours about something which has been most sacred to me. It’s the most difficult phase of my life and I will deal with it gracefully holding on to my beliefs. I truly hope we, as a society, learn to pause before judging someone based on unverified gossip, whose sources are never identified, he said about these speculations as he denounced the same.

Our words can wound in ways we may never understand, he added on this matter. He warned everyone spreading false information of serious legal consequences in the near future.
