Neeraja Kona’s Love Story With Nithiin – Radical or Regular?

Female filmmaker Neeraja Kona made her directorial debut with Telusu Kada, starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Billed as a radical love story, the film did not work big time and opened to criticism of her work. However, the director is taking all the criticism and prepping for her next film.

During the Gulte directors’ roundtable, Neeraja Kona opened up that her next film is with Nithiin. In fact, it is Nithiin who suggested Telusu Kada to Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Neeraja was always planning to do a film with Nithiin and her second film is coming alive in the combination.

Nithiin is known for scoring hits with soft and relatable love stories. Films like Ishq and Gunde Jaari Gallanthainde revived his career. Later, he went on to do other love stories, which became hits. However, the films that he worked on in recent times did not bring him great results. It is time for him to up the game.

If Neeraja comes up with another radical story, it may be new for Nithiin but could cause backlash. It is safe to do a regular love story and aim to make a comeback to success. Especially after Thammudu misfired, Nithiin needs to be careful with what he is choosing and he also walked out of Yellamma.
