Balakrishna Nandamuri’s Akhanda 2 was released this morning and had its premiere yesterday. As the fans are geared up for the film’s release celebration, many audiences are surprised to witness a glimpse of Varanasi on the big screen. Many people who watched it in some of the best screens are mesmerized with the quality of the visuals.
Ironically, team Varanasi did not screen the official launch of the glimpse in theatres and opted for a digital live streaming on Hotstar. They waited for the right time to screen it in theatres on the big screen and the campaign has just begun.
The audience is in awe of the visuals, sound quality, and the glimpse of Lord Sriram fighting Kumbhakarna in one of the frames. Rajamouli described how well did they shoot the sequence of Mahesh featuring Lord Sriram. Imagining the same quality for the visuals that get revealed at a lter point, the fans can’t wait for the full film.
The talk of the town is that the team wants to screen the glimpse across theatres along with all the upcoming big budget flick releases. With this, the film and its glimpse will gain more visbility.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, Varanasi features Superstar Mahesh Babu and he will briefly appear as Lord Sriram. The film’s shoot is underway and is scheduled for a release in 2027.
