Harshaali Malhotra, known for her childhood role in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, appears as a grown up scientist in Akhanda 2 Thaandavam. She plays Janani, daughter of Balakrishna, a key character who works on a defence project. Even though the role is important, many critics felt she was not the right fit.
Her looks good on screen, but the role needed someone more convincing for a strong scientific character. Her acting is decent but not impressive, and she needs more confidence and depth in her performance.
Although Janani has a central part in the story, the writing does not give her enough scope to stand out.
