Things Moving Fast for Rowdy Janardhana

Vijay Deverakonda is currently shooting for two films simultaneously. One is with director Rahul Sankrityan, and the other is with director Ravi Kiran Kola. After wrapping up Kingdom, Vijay initially kicked off Rahul Sankrityan’s film, set in a Rayalaseema backdrop, which was announced as his 14th film. He later joined the sets of Ravi Kiran Kola’s Rowdy Janardhana, announced as his 15th film. However, things are moving faster for Rowdy Janardhana.

Rowdy Janardhana, co-starring Keerthy Suresh and produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, was launched in October. Without any delay, the team began shooting across multiple locations, including Mumbai and Hyderabad, over the past few months. Now, as per reports, the makers are planning to come up with a teaser, with December 18 being discussed as the target date. The title reveal of this action drama will be made official with the teaser, confirming the title Rowdy Janardhana.

The teaser launch event will take place on December 18 at Prasads in Hyderabad. Marking the 55th birthday of producer Dil Raju, the makers are launching the teaser on this special occasion. Though Vijay Deverakonda is shooting both films simultaneously, Rowdy Janardhana has been given first priority, as the other film requires extensive VFX work. Vijay has allotted his dates exclusively to Rowdy Janardhana for four straight months starting January. The makers are aiming for a Dussehra release. Following this, Vijay Deverakonda’s film with Rahul Sankrityan, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, will be lined up for release.

Rowdy Janardhana stars Vijay Deverakonda and Keerthy Suresh, and is directed by Ravi Kiran Kola. Music is composed by Christo Xavier, known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Cinematography is by Anand C. Chandran. This rural action drama is planned for release during Dussehra 2026.
