Peddi Is On track – Ram Charan Confirms Release Date

The makers of Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ announced March 27th 2026 as the release date when the first glimpse was unveiled earlier this year. However, numerous speculations have been frequently hitting the headlines. Recently, there were reports that the film might be postponed due to pending shooting formalities. But, the producer immediately reiterated the release date through a Chikiri thank note.

Now, Ram Charan officially confirmed the release date during his speech at the trailer launch event of Champion in Hyderabad today evening. When the anchor asked an update about Peddi, Ram Charan replied that the shooting is happening and announced that it will hit the screens on March 27th. He humorously stated that Champion will release next and then Sankranti films will follow before Peddi joins the race. 

A few days ago, reports were rife that Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh might occupy the March 27th slot as Peddi might get delayed. But, Ram Charan’s producer released a thanking note for Chikiri Chikiri song and once again confirmed the release date. Now, the actor himself ended all speculations and gave full clarity that the film is on track for early Summer release. So, Buchi is probably working at a rapid pace to meet the release date and give Ram Charan fans a birthday treat.

‘Peddi’ has been making a lot of positive waves ever since the team unveiled the first glimpse earlier this year. The blockbuster response for the first single Chikiri Chikiri in different languages has shot the hype on this Buchi Babu directional further to a new level. Trade circles are anticipating a monstrous box office opening because of the huge anticipation. 

Directed by Buchi Babu, the film has Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar in a significant role. Jahnvi Kapoor is the female lead. AR Rahman is the composer.
