Prabhas, the undisputed superstar and one of Indian cinema’s biggest global icons, has launched The Script Craft International Short Film Festival, marking a bold step towards. Backing the next generation of storytellers, Prabhas supports this launch, inviting filmmakers across the world to submit their short film.
In the launch video posted by Prabhas, the celebrated filmmakers Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Nag Ashwin, and Hanu Raghavapudi, who encouraged aspirants to use short films as their strongest gateway into cinema, citing real success stories born from such beginning. Their voice adds more value to this inspiring one.
Unlike traditional competitions, the festival allows short films of two minutes and above in any genre, evaluated over 90 days through audience participation. Engagement through votes, likes, and ratings will determine the top three winners, while every filmmaker benefits from exposure to production houses already exploring The Script Craft for fresh voices.
Strengthening this initiative further, Quick TV has joined as a partner focused on emerging directors. Fifteen selected filmmakers will receive complete backing to develop a 90-minute script, along with full production support and an international premiere on Quick TV. Founded by Thaalla Vaishnav and Pramod Uppalapati, The Script Craft opens registrations now, with more updates coming soon.
