Good Move by Ravi Teja’s BMW, Will Others Follow?

Mass Raja Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi is slated for a Sankranthi release. Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film has already created decent buzz, and the recently released teaser has further raised expectations.

There are good expectations on the film now and the team wants to provide the entertainment to the audiences at an affordable ticket price. The team decided to sell the film’s tickets at regular prices. Unlike other films, the producers of BMW will not opt for a ticket hike.

The move from the production house will benefit them a lot. For Sankranthi this time, we will have Raja Saab, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and other movies which will reportedly opt for hikes in ticket prices. Given the clash, the film that is available at affordable ticket prices will be given preference by the family audiences during the festival season. It will also bring more attention and visibility to the film.

In fact, it would be a smart strategy if other medium-range films also follow this model. Keeping ticket prices reasonable could help such films survive big clashes and attract more footfalls during the festival period.

Dimple Hayathi and Ashika Ranganath star as the female leads opposite Ravi Teja, while music for the film is composed by Bheems Cicerolio. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, the film is slated for a grand Sankranthi release on January 13.
