Ram Charan Begins Peddi Shoot at Rashtrapati Bhavan

Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is slated for release on March 27, 2026. As the release date approaches, the makers have accelerated the shooting schedule.

The team had planned to film a few crucial sequences in Delhi, including locations such as Rashtrapati Bhavan and Agrasen ki Baoli. However, this schedule was delayed for few months due to various reasons. Reportedly, these Delhi sequences will span four to five days. Barring the climax sequence and a special song, the rest of the film’s shoot has already been wrapped up.

Recently, Ram Charan and the Peddi team headed to Delhi to wrap up the Delhi schedule. According to Delhi Times, after the shoot was rescheduled in November following a bomb blast near the Red Fort, Ram Charan was spotted on Saturday morning filming near the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Although the shoot was delayed by nearly three hours due to heavy fog, it continued later in the morning and the team shoot at Agrasen ki Baoli in the evening. The film’s Delhi schedule is planned across four days.

Director Buchi Babu Sana has opted for real locations to bring an authentic feel to the film, which is set against a raw and rustic village backdrop. Shooting at Rashtrapati Bhavan was reportedly challenging, with the team waiting for months to get permission. Their patience eventually paid off, allowing them to film at the iconic location without compromise.

After completing the Delhi schedules, the team will move on to shoot the climax sequence, followed by a special song, before wrapping up the entire film. Earlier, there were rumours of Kajal Aggarwal featuring in the special song, but there has been no official confirmation so far. Peddi is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman.
