I Am Champion: Roshan Kills It With Swag & Grace

Swapna Cinema is doing one film at a time, and are focusing solely to deliver consecutive hits. Champion directed by Pradeep Advaitham is their next outing, with Anandi Art Creations and Concept Films joining them as co-producers and Zee Studios as presenter. While the trailer set the bar high for the movie, it was the songs which helped in generating initial buzz. Today, Samantha released third single- I Am Champion.

The composition by Mickey J Meyer is a classic contemporary jazz-powered party anthem. It relies heavily on a high-tempo, four-on-the-floor electronic beat designed for high-impact choreography. The use of synthesized brass hits and heavy basslines provides the punch needed for a club setting. It feels modern and slick.

Roshan killed it with his swag and grace. Every movement, even the micro-gestures of his fingers and head, is perfectly timed with the beat. He transitions from smooth body waves to sharp, sudden stops effortlessly. The choreography by Pony Varma is designed to look athletic and cool. The Hook Step is truly attractive. Avanthika looked like a glam doll and danced with energy.

The lyrics by KK focuses on themes of victory, strength, and being a Champ. P Jayaram, and Ramya Behara used a high-energy delivery to match the pulse of the track. On the whole, I Am Champion is a slick, visually rich, and musically charged number that is going to become prime choice for bachelor parties.
