Amidst all this ‘Drishyam’ tussel broke out and the director Abhishek Pathak himself have spoken to media to clear the smoke around it.
The news went viral after reports claimed that Akshaye Khanna not only wanted to wear a wig but also sought changes in the overall dynamics of his character. When disagreements arose over these demands, he reportedly walked out of the project.
Adding more fuel to the speculation, rumours also suggested that Akshaye Khanna asked for a remuneration hike following Dhurandhar’s tremendous box office success.
Speaking about this Abhishek Pathak said “All this happened after the contract was signed in November. He left the movie five days before it was going on the floors. My film starts from the point where it (Drishyam 2) ended and he comes back with hair. How is it possible?” added Abhishek. He clarified that the things are sorted now and even Ajay Devgan left everything to him to handle.
