Reigning pan-India star Prabhas is all set to showcase his box office clout once again with the release of the long awaited horror comedy drama The Raja Saab, which is going to have a huge release on January 9th worldwide. As the release coincides with the much hyped Sankranti festival window, there are mammoth trade expectations on this film.
As per trade estimates, The Raja Saab will witness a bumper opening worldwide this Friday due to its wide release in multiple languages. Especially in Telugu states, the film is expected to take a phenomenal start due to Prabhas’ massive stardom among audiences and also due to its solo release. It is likely to benefit largely from ticket hikes and permissions for special shows in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Though Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayakudu( Jana Nayagan) was supposed to eat away some revenues by securing decent number of screens in Telugu states, the uncertainty over its release date has now turned into a big boon for The Raja Saab as many of the theatres are getting alloted back to it on the first day.

Despite moderate buzz in Hindi circuits as the early trends indicate a lower traction from North audience compared to Prabhas’ previous films, the first day gross of The Raja Saab is likely to touch the prestigious 100 Crores mark without much difficulty.
Overall, it is going to be solid start at the box office for The Raja Saab as it rides heavily on Prabhas’ craze all over the country. With weekend ahead followed by Sankranti festival, the film might register sensational numbers during the first weekend if it manages to secure decent talk.
