Tollywood Fans Can’t Digest Body Doubles Anymore

With the wide use of technology in filmmaking, it has been easy for a lot of filmmakers to make use of body doubles for star heroes. The use of body doubles is a tradition in the film industry for decades but they were limited to performing stunts alone. Of late, many stars are using their body doubles even for some random scenes, songs and sequences that involve minor portions. It is becoming too much that the fans began to identify the difference between the two on the screen.

Almost all our current star heroes use body doubles and if it is limited for the high risky stunt sequences, the fans would not mind for the obvious reasons. But, in the last few years, the fans are able to easily identify that the makers are replacing the actor’s head with the body double and making the final cut. It is happening for some random scenes and minor action sequences. The difference is being made out easily, leaving fans frustrated.

The end output is turning out artificial that the fans are not able to enjoy the real experience of a movie on the big screen. The trend is growing with each film as and how the stars are used to comfort levels at all scenarios. The reality and authenticity factor is missing to watch the films and everything looks AI generated on the screen.

The more the filmmakers abuse this trend, the more it will impact on the footfalls in theatres. No viewer want to watch a film by spending an amount only to finally witness some body double occupying the majority of the screen with the actor’s face attached to him. The sooner the filmmakers realise this, the better it will be in containing the damage.
