Netflix is one of the leading streaming services worldwide, and even in India, it is demonstrating its dominance over other platforms.
The streaming service announced a ‘Netflix Pandaga’ yesterday, confirming the list of titles that will be released post-release. As last year, Netflix grabbed the majority of Telugu movies.
Going by the list of titles that Netflix has announced, Mythri Movie Makers sold four of their upcoming releases to the platform. On the other hand, Sithara Entertainments/Haarika & Hassinee Creations sold three of their movies to the streaming services.
The upcoming slate includes: Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Peddi, The Paradise, Adarsha Kutumbam AK47, Aakasham Lo Oka Taara, VD14, Funky, Biker, Raakasa, Sithata Prod #37, 418, and Don’t Trouble the Trouble. As days pass by, more films will be added to the list.
With the assurance that these films will end up on Netflix, it is pretty much clear that they will release in time and offer the best quality for the screens in home.
As Netflix launched its office in Hyderabad, we have to see how this helps in getting more reach in the Telugu entertainment space.
