Krishna Vamshi is one of the fewest directors in Tollywood who carved out a niche with his creativity and organic portrayal of human emotions in his movies.
Coming from Ram Gopal Varma’s school of directors having worked as an assistant for several films, Krishna Vamshi proved his credibility with successful movies like Gulabi, Ninne Pelladatha, Sindhuram, Khadgam, Murari and Chandamama.
Known for churning out feel good family entertainers and no-nonsense romantic dramas, Krishna Vamshi also experienced a familiar dull phase like many other directors due to a string of flops which pushed him on the backfoot and forced him to rethink about his choice of scripts.
Even though Krishna Vamshi still has the thirst to bring out the best in his craft, no notable producer seems to be willing to pool resources for his scripts. Quite often, he directly admitted the same during interaction with his followers on social media platforms. His inability to find a good producer for his scripts is once again publicly exposed when he replied to a netizen via X.
When one of his followers on X came with a proposal to narrate a strong subject and sought his appointment, Krishna Vamshi openly asked whether there is any producer available to back this project. This reply from the director left netizens surprised because they aren’t expecting this from a legendary filmmaker who was known for delivering big hits with star heroes.
Ever since he scored back-to-back debacles, Krishna Vamshi is unable to convince producers. His last outing Ranga Marthanda also faced several production issue and ultimately tanked at the box office, giving him no respite.
Even though moviegoers often encourage him to come up with a good film in his trademark style, Vamshi reveals about the harsh reality that he is unable to get a producer for his scripts.
