On Mega Prince Varun Tej’s birthday, the makers of VT15 dropped the much-awaited title glimpse, officially revealing Korean Kanakaraju (KOKA)- and it’s a genre-bending introduction to a world that feels both eccentric and explosive.
Korean cops grill Satya over the elusive Kanakaraju, Ritika Naik frozen in the shadows. Varun Tej arrives in a lungi, inked trident tattoo gleaming, blue eyes blazing like ice fire. He unleashes katana chaos, carving through the squad with ruthless swagger, capping it with a devilish grin.
Varun Tej transforms into a massy, unpredictable storm. His icy blue eyes, unhinged body language, and that devilish grin after the slaughter instantly stamp the character as one of his boldest on-screen reinventions. The glimpse also introduces the characters of Ritika Naik and Satya.
Merlapaka Gandhi amps up the madness in an eccentric Indo-Korean tonal space with atmospheric touches- flapping bats, a brooding full moon, and a dragon-like hiss echoing through the frame. Manojh Reddy Katasani’s visuals slice through the darkness with sharp frames, while Thaman’s pounding score injects swagger into every scene.
The high production standards of UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment are clearly evident in the glimpse. The movie is scheduled for summer release, this year.
