Two of the biggest names in South Indian cinema, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan could be coming together for a collaboration soon as a multistarrer featuring these two veterans is reportedly in the making.
Earlier it was reported that Director Lokesh Kanagaraj would be directing this film, and he had even narrated an idea to these two legendary actors. However, both Rajni and Kamal have reportedly decided in a collective manner that they would wish to work on an entertaining film rather than an action subject.
Then the hunt started for a capable film maker who can bring together these two legends and also present his story in a fun and gripping manner. Now the latest developments are suggesting that Nelson Dileep Kumar is projected to direct this huge anticipated multistarrer.
Reportedly Nelson is nearly confirmed to direct this film and related promo shoot could be happening as early as next week. He is trusted with the job of handling these two legends as he had created a mark for himself with dark comedy entertainers.
The point to be noted here is that Nelson had already delivered a historic blockbuster to Rajinikanth with Jailer. He is currently working with Rajini again for Jailer 2 and then, the upcoming multistarrer would be his third collab with Rajini and maiden project with Kamal.
Nelson had already established that he can handle superstars as he had worked with Thalapathy Vijay and Rajini already. So collaborative film with Rajni and Kamal might be optimal work for him. But nevertheless, this would be one of the most anticipated projects once materialised.
