Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s much awaited film Varanasi has finally got its official release date, and the announcement has instantly gone viral. The makers unveiled a release date poster, confirming that the film will hit theatres on April 7, 2027.

Starring Mahesh Babu, Varanasi marks his first collaboration with Rajamouli, which itself is a major highlight. Priyanka Chopra Jonas plays a key role in the film, making this project one of the most talked about Indian films globally. Prithviraj Sukumaran is also part of the cast, adding more weight to the project.

Though the film is still under production, locking the release date so early shows the Rajamouli’s confidence.

With a strong cast, massive budget, and Rajamouli’s vision, Varanasi is shaping up as a Pan World film to watch out for in 2027.
