Is Sreeleela Tired of Flops in Tollywood?

Even though Sree Leela is armed with top notch dancing skills besides her glamorous on-screen appearance, her career graph in Tollywood is marred by too many flops than hits. She recently tried her luck in Kollywood, but to no avail as the debut outing Parasakthi brought no laurels for her performance.

Surprisingly, Sree Leela continues to grab promising offers in Tamil despite the disappointing box office result of her debut. Having recently bagged a plump role in Pradeep Ranganathan’s next film, she has now been roped in as the leading lady opposite Dhanush in the untitled project which will be helmed by Amaran director Rajkumar Periyaswamy.

Dhanush is one of the versatile actors with pan-India popularity. Sree Leela should consider herself very lucky to share screen space with Dhanush at this juncture of her career. She is very desperate to score a notable success and revive her career. This is a big opportunity for her make a strong comeback.

On the other side, Rajkumar Periyaswamy is known for giving strong performance oriented roles to his female leads. In Amaran, Sai Pallavi scored brownie points for her stupendous performance. If he comes up with a meaty character that has scope for Sree Leela to deliver her career best performance, it will be a huge turning point in her career.

Of late, Sree Leela isn’t signing films much in Telugu. She seems to concentrating much on gaining foothold in other languages. She is set for her Hindi debut very soon and has some more Bollywood offers up her sleeve. It is not known whether she is tired of flops in Tollywood or not getting interesting roles here. But, her recent choice of films suggest that she is very determined to carve out a niche in Hindi and Tamil.

She immediately needs to end her flop streak and deliver a solid success in any language so that her low lying career will get a much boost from now onwards. In Telugu, she pinned all her hopes on Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
