Things are getting really interesting as a fresh combination is reportedly taking shape in Tollywood. Sources suggest that Nandamuri Balakrishna may soon hear a script from director Vassishta, sparking speculation about a potential collaboration targeting Sankranthi 2027. The project is said to be backed by Dil Raju under the prestigious Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
Insiders reveal that a formal narration could happen within the next few days. If the script impresses Balayya and everything falls into place, the makers are reportedly considering an official launch on his birthday in June, which would make for a grand announcement.
Interestingly, earlier reports indicated that Balakrishna might team up with Harish Shankar for a Sankranthi 2027 release under the Sithara banner. With multiple possibilities being discussed, it remains to be seen which project materializes first.
This new development comes at a time when fans are already curious about Bhimbisara 2, which is in a dilemma even after a new director was locked following Vassishta’s exit, and the delay surrounding Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara, which has yet to announce its release date.
If Balakrishna gives his nod to Vassishta, it would certainly surprise many. However, locking a Sankranthi 2027 release could be challenging, considering Vassishta’s reputation for taking ample time to craft his films on a grand scale. Let’s see what happens in the days to come.
