Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is at the peak of his career now with blockbuster Dhurandhar, which turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters of all time. While this professional acclaim must be of great value to him, he finds himself in a legal tussle and here’s a look into the same.
Earlier, Ranveer Singh had replicated the famous Daiva mannerism from the Kantara film, while praising Rishab shetty at a film event. This triggered the Kannada community as they opined that Ranveer Singh immaturely imitated their belief system and mocked it. Subsequently, a case was filed against him at Karnataka High Court.
The case came to hearing today and the High Court reacted strongly to the Bollywood actor regarding this issue.
The court pointed out that Ranveer Singh might be an actor by profession and mimicking certain roles might come naturally to him. But at the same time, he must also keep in mind that an actor must show restraint while expressing a religious belief or a local faith.
The court had a very strong set of words as it reprimanded Ranveer Singh, for being reckless and having a loose tongue while being out in the public. It was evident that the judge bench did not react kindly to Ranveer for immaturely mimicking the Kantara act at the Goa Film Festival last year.
Ranveer Singh really got an earful from the court and it has to be seen how he would react to the situation now.
