Sree Vishnu Drops Bombshell On Vishnu Vinyasam

Sree Vishnu’s latest outing, Vishnu Vinyasam, hit the screens yesterday, and his craze helped the movie register decent collections on Day 1. In the US too, it crossed the $100K mark, becoming Sree Vishnu’s biggest opener there to date.

Sree Vishnu echoed the sentiment but also dropped a bombshell about the film’s unexpected release situation. “The movie got leaked in December. One fine morning, producer Subrahmanyam called to inform me about it. I was initially stunned. The film wasn’t even complete then. We filed complaints immediately, but the damage had already begun. It caused enormous tension.”

According to him, pirates even attempted blackmail, but the producers refused to bow down. “In December, we were in chaos. If we spoke publicly, it could be misunderstood, and if we stayed silent, the leak could spread further. The producers handled it with unbelievable courage. With very little time left, we somehow wrapped up the film and released it safely.”
