Why Is Deepika Padukone Silent on Dhurandhar’s Success?

Bollywood’s most awaited sequel Dhurandhar 2 arrived in theatres this Friday and created a box office storm with a record breaking opening for any Hindi film till date. The Ranveer Singh directional is set for a fantastic first weekend due to the unanimous reviews and glowing word of mouth. 

While all sections of audiences are bracing this patriotic spy thriller, celebrities from all quarters are equally getting excited while watching it on the big screen. Already, several notable personalities from different streams watched the Aditya Dhar directional and shared their excitement through social media platforms. 

Interestingly, Ranveer Singh’s wife and top league actress Deepika Padukone has remained silent on Dhurandhar 2 so far. And this has become a topic of discussion among the Bollywood media circles and within the industry as well. 

As the stupendous success of Dhurandhar turned out to be the biggest turning point for Ranveer Singh and the box office milestones of the sequel are mostly likely going put him in the big league of Bollywood, it is expected from Deepika Padukone to share her reaction before anyone else. 

Surprisingly, she is nowhere seen at the premiere shows or on the first day. Though the reasons for her silence are not exactly known, Bollywood circles are discussing about the same while the film aims to shatter more records in the coming days. 

When the first part released in December last year, Deepika just posted about her experience on her Instagram status and never really opened up about the film’s success anywhere else in these three months. This strange silence has been a talking point among netizens all these days. 

Now, her silence on the sequel has further become a point of discussion all over. While some claim that she is currently busy with her upcoming projects, others are pointing out that even her co-star Allu Arjun has watched the film and expressed his excitement. 

Only way she could put an end to all ongoing speculations is by watching the film in the next few days and sharing her opinion at least on her social media handles just like she did for the first part.
