Ram Charan Fuels Confusion Over ‘Peddi’ Release

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s Peddi is frequently making headlines not only because of the superb buzz but also due to never ending rumours on its release date. There is a lot of uncertainty on whether the film can make it to the screens on April 30 or not even after the makers have officially announced it through a glimpse on Charan’s birthday. 

While there are strong reports hinting that the film is likely to face another postponement due to pending production formalities, Ram Charan has fueled more confusion with his latest statement during the promotions of Niharika Konidela’s upcoming film Rakasa. He made a funny request to the team to promote that Peddi is not getting late. 

Though Charan did not categorically mention that Peddi is going to hit the screens on April 30, he instead stated that the film will not arrive late as speculated in the media.

This statement is currently trending all over because Charan himself opened up about the ongoing rumours. Still, there is no full clarity on whether the team is pushing for release this month or if they are looking for another ideal date. 

Peddi was initially supposed to hit the screens on March 27, but got postponed due to the extended shooting schedules and pending post production activities. Recently, reliable reports started making rounds that the film is unlikely to meet the fresh deadline and might get pushed to June. 

Many small and medium budget films of Tollywood are awaiting an official announcement from Peddi team to finalize their release dates. But, the suspense continues as the makers of Peddi are maintaining radio silence on the rumours despite the fact that the release date is less than a month now. 

With the clock ticking fast, they should issue a quick clarification at least for the sake of other films. A clear picture is likely to emerge in the next few days. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is touted to be a rural sports drama with soul stirring emotions and intense drama.
