Dhurandhar 2 is on the verge of rewriting box office history, positioning itself as a landmark moment for Bollywood. The film is set to become the first Hindi-language movie to cross the monumental ₹1000 crore nett mark at the Indian box office, a feat that has so far remained out of reach for the industry.
Until now, only two Indian films have achieved this milestone: Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Pushpa 2: The Rule. Both belong to the Telugu film industry, making Dhurandhar 2’s success even more significant as it breaks a long-standing dominance and establishes Bollywood’s presence in this elite club.
The film’s massive run reflects strong audience reception, widespread appeal, and effective marketing. However, while the ₹1000 crore nett (india) milestone now seems inevitable, the road ahead looks more challenging. The next big target, ₹2000 crore, still appears distant.
Recent trends indicate that the film’s momentum has begun to slow, with collections stabilizing after an explosive initial run. Sustaining such high earnings over time requires continued audience interest and repeat viewership, which may be difficult at this stage.
Even so, Dhurandhar 2 has already secured its place in cinematic history. Crossing ₹1000 crore nett alone in india will not only be a commercial triumph but also a symbolic victory for Bollywood, signaling its ability to compete at the highest level of Indian cinema
