No Differences Between Rishab & Rukmini Vasanth?

A couple of weeks ago, speculations were on the rise on social media when it was learnt that actor Rishab Shetty unfollowed his Kantara co-star Rukmini Vasanth on Instagram. Along with her, he also unfollowed another Kannada actor, Raj B Shetty, and Kantara’s production house, Hombale Films.

It was widely rumoured that differences arose between Rishab and Rukmini, which eventually led him to unfollow her. However, Rukmini still follows Rishab on the platform.

Amid these rumours, Rukmini shared a story on Instagram, indirectly putting a full stop to all the rumours. Sharing a picture of Kantara Chapter:1’s multiple award wins, including Rishab’s Best Actor and Best Director victories, Rukmini wished the entire team.

Recently, Kantara Chapter: 1 won Best Film, Best Actor (Rishab), Best Actress (Rukmini), and Best Director (Rishab) awards at the Indian National Cine Academy Awards 2026. Sharing the post on her stories, Rukmini wrote, “Feeling deeply grateful. Thank you for this honour.”

With this post, it is being assumed that there are no differences between the two actors, and thus, she reposted the news, which also features Rishab.

Additionally, she still follows Rishab on Instagram, which is making netizens believe that the earlier reports of personal differences are just rumours.

On the work front, Rishab Shetty is working with Prasanth Varma on Jai Hanuman. Meanwhile, Rukmini Vasanth is currently working with Jr NTR in Dragon. Interestingly, the Kantara lead pair is now busy with separate projects connected to Tollywood.
