What if Dhurandhar and Animal joined forces together?

While the entire nation has been going gaga over Ranveer Singh’s record breaking franchise film, Dhurandhar, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has ruffled the feathers of a section of insiders in Bollywood with his bold statement after watching the film. 

It is well known that the biggest reason for the monstrous success of Dhurandhar is the narrative which was inspired by the real life incidents set in the backdrop of the Pakistani terror networks dismantled by Indian spying agents. A section of critics have called Dhurandhar as an agenda based film. 

Amidst the ongoing chatter in the public, director Sandeep Reddy has slammed the naysayers who tried to label Dhurandhar as a propaganda film. After watching the sequel, the Animal director hit out at Bollywood clan for mocking Dhurandhar despite having a true narrative and pointed that the same people were quiet when many directors and actors built careers by doing propaganda films. 

Sandeep Reddy’s review on Dhurandhar and his direct attack on Bollywood critics who tried to write off Aditya Dhar’s attempt have now become a major talking point everywhere in the media and within the industry. 

Meanwhile, Aditya Dhar has praised Sandeep to the sky for the latter’s kind words. Dhar added that Sandeep’s conviction is what reminds many of them to trust their own voice and go ahead with the plans. He also said that he genuinely love the way Sandeep stands his ground and gives it back when it matters. 

The biggest surprise is that Aditya Dhar revealed that he is waiting for Prabhas’ Spirit and openly offered to assist Sandeep Reddy because he loves to help him. This unexpected request has now triggered a huge discussion among moviegoers. 

Already, there are numerous comparisons drawn between these powerhouse directors because of their hard hitting and bold filmmaking style. Both of them follow a conventional approach and present raw narratives with unfiltered drama and intense emotions. Moreover, their music sense also appear to be similar. 

So, it will be a collaboration of two heavyweights if both Sandeep Reddy and Aditya Dhar come together and work for Spirit or some other film in future. For now, it is just a speculation, but the chances for such heady and formidable combination to happen appear strong given their rapport which is evident with this conversation.
